I saw this pin yesterday and had everything to make them so I thought why not. I even had fried the bacon for the cookies (yep that’s my next pin I am posting today) Clicking on the pin took me to Green Lite Bites at http://greenlitebites.com/2010/06/28/roasted-grilled-cabbage/
This was a great use of my leftover cabbage and bacon and was light and fresh tasting. I might have used 1/2 the Worcestershire but it was very good. That is if I would have gotten them completely done. After the 30 min mine was still not done so I left it in for 15 more min. It was still crisp in the middle but the rest of my dinner could not wait any longer. It was still very good.
1 t. olive oil
2 T. bacon bits
2 T lemon juice
1 T. Worcestershire
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 Cabbage, quartered, individually wrapped.
Mix all items in a bowl and pour over the quarter wedge of cabbage wrap in foil and bake.
Bake at 425
It said 20-30 min but mine was not done I left in for 15 more min and it still could have used more time but the rest of our dinner could not wait any longer.
