This Pin I just had to try from *Riches to Rags* by Dori.
I had seen it so many times this week and thought the kids would love it.
I followed the recipe except that for half of them I used mozzarella cheese. The only other change was that I used garlic bread shake and not garlic powder.
Pizza balls were super easy and the kids can even help. I was surprised that the tube of dough had more of a pizza/calzone flavor and texture than a biscuit. Even the pickiest of the kids had seconds. Even my husband liked them and ate the few left overs the next day.
So here they are!!!
*flatten dough in round flat circles with fingers.
*place one peperoni then cheese chunk than peperoni.
*fold up sides and pinch closed
*flip over in a pie or cake pan so the pinched end is down.
*Bush with egg wash
*Top with garlic bead shake and parmesan cheese
*Bake @ 425 for 18-20 minutes
add pizza sauce on the side for dipping
